Learn how to make the Tunisian Crochet Cross Over stitch in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make a Tunisian crochet stitch that has a look similar to a knitted stitch. This Tunisian crochet pattern works up quick and easy for crochet blankets as well as a crochet scarf. This pattern uses primarily the Tunisian Simple Stitch, also known as the TSS. The cross over pattern is created by passing a yarn over across three TSSs. For my sample I'm using an 5.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook and worsted weight yarn. While I'm using a shorter Tunisian hook for a scarf and shawl, you can use a larger one, shown in the video, to accommodate a blanket. I'm also changing colors every two rows.
